About the Dress a Day Project

It’s no secret I have a BIG closet jammed full of dresses!!!  My mission is so see how long I can go wearing a different dress each day to work and which dresses I can take from my closet and donate to a worthy cause.

A few guidelines and rules will help me on my way … these are subject to change/grow/expand/be broken (no never!!!)

The Dress A Day project will commence on the first day of my work in the New Year.

The Dress A Day project will be limited to Monday – Friday excluding public holidays (I hope no one thinks this is cheating but a girl needs to take a break on the weekends).

Only dresses already in my closet can be counted as part of this project. I would like to say I won’t buy any new dresses between now and then but I don’t want to raise everyone’s expectations or mine and not meet them!

I am still deciding if there should be any limitations on wearing dresses that are inappropriate for work i.e evening gowns, ball gowns, bridesmaids dresses – Although a friend did say she would pay money to see me at work with ball gown on ... and more money does mean a new dress!

I will take a picture each day of the dress I wear.

One dress a week will be put aside as voted for charity and if a dress doesn’t fit I must put it aside straight away for charity.

Feature stories, videos ... my extremely funny and intriguing stories will also keep readers entertained!

 Suggestions are always welcome.

Friday has been deemed Frock Up Friday .. all the ladies .. and men who wish must wear a frock! .. well the ones I know haha.

 No dress may be repeated.

If no dress is voted in the majority to be given away I will donate $20 that week instead of a dress.
